1. Spend more time with Russ when he’s available to spend time with.
  2. Find a publishing home for my Langston stories.
  3. Try at least three more places to get my chapbook published if it doesn’t work out where it is right now.
  4. Revise my memoir and send it out to at least 50 agents (a new kind of #50 rejections).
  5. Still shoot for #50 rejections on my other writing, too.
  6. Try to find a way to get to Hindman to work with Neema.
  7. Try to find a way to get to Table Rock.
  8. Go somewhere special for our 55th birthdays since they’re so close together.
  9. Get back to the beach this year with friends.
  10. Get all these teeth issues behind me.
  11. See at least three acts in concert I’ve been waiting to see for more than twenty years (excludes the 80s Cruise line-up).
  12. Consult with a really good doctor about my loose skin. See what happens from there.
  13. Find joy in every moment possible. Try not to be aggravated by things I don’t understand. Embrace “Welcome to Wherever You Are,” by Bon Jovi, and make that my mantra for the coming year.
